  Contract & Route Transportation

  RAZ Transportation's contract business is comprised of contracts with railroads, municipalities, transit authorities, schools, colleges, universities and companies to provide commuter, work or school-related transportation services.

  Contracts vary in length, but our average contract length is approximately four years. Pricing terms vary by contract, but is primarily quoted based on either miles or hours, as opposed to passengers.

For example, our multi-regional presence resulted in contracts with a major technology company at three different business units.

• We operate our own on-site maintenance facility. This allows us to control the quality of the maintenance performed on our fleet. We will not rely on a third-party maintenance provider who has no stake in the quality of work performed. This commitment allows us to ensure our fleet is maintained in excess of all mandated standards.

  24-hour dispatch operation is maintained to ensure timely and effective communication for our customers' convenience.

  Our fleet consists of 29 to 56 passenger motorcoaches, all of which operate on bio-diesel. Standard equipped amenities include:

  RAZ Transportation delivers value in many ways. As part of Coach America, the largest privately owned motorcoach operator in the U.S., we can offer unique benefits. We carry $10 million in insurance coverage, which is twice the required amount set by the federal Department of Transportation. Our driver safety and training program is second to none! Our drivers are required to attend both classroom and behind the wheel training classes on an ongoing basis to ensure their skills are sharp and they are ready for anything that may arise.

  To ensure coach dependability, we maintain our fleet in our own facility. This also allows us to ensure our coaches are maintained in excess of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance standards. We are fully committed to deliver outstanding customer service, even if it requires a little added expense to our operation.
